Local men wear pink to promote breast cancer awareness

Men from around the Birmingham area are wearing pink this month, including eight representing Mountain Brook.

As part of the “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign, these men will wear pink to promote breast cancer awareness, education and early detection while raising money for the cause. This is the second year for the American Cancer Society’s awareness event, during which the men will raise a minimum of $2,500. The individual who raises the most will be declared the Real man of the year for 2016.
