Kari Kampakis, a freelance writer and former photographer and PR professional, is well known in the community for her thoughts on life and family in her Life Actually column in Village Living. Kari is the mom of four girls, three of whom attend Mountain Brook Elementary. A member of St. Francis Catholic Church,  Kari speaks at various women’s and church groups as well as Bible studies around Birmingham.
