Zoo animals receive Christmas gifts

On Saturday, Dec. 12, Christmas came a little early for some residents of the Birmingham Zoo. Zookeepers continued their Holiday with the Animals tradition of offering special presents and treats, called enrichments, to the animals while visitors watched.

Saturday's gift recipients included the black bears, guinea forest hogs, mandrills, sea lions, tigers, Debrazza's monkeys and lions.
