Honoring veterans important to BWF

Brookwood Forest Elementary held its annual Veterans Day program on Nov. 9. This tradition of paying tribute to men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces has been part of BWF for more than 25 years.

Students in fourth, fifth and sixth grades honored those in attendance by singing and paying tribute to the branches of our military. This program gives teachers an opportunity to teach young children about democracy and to honor those Americans who have supported our country through their military service.
