Samson Sands wins district spelling bee

Samson Sands, a sixth grader at Cherokee Bend Elementary, won the Mountain Brook district level Spelling Bee on Jan. 10.

Samson won the Cherokee Bend Spelling Bee Dec. 11, where Jack Irby (fifth grade) and George Davis (sixth grade) tied for second place.
