Alabama football player speaks to CES boys

by

Barrett Jones, University of Alabama lineman, was spotted in Mountain Brook on March 29. He came to speak to a group of Crestline Boys Bible Club members. More than 100 young boys in first through sixth grades woke up at dawn to get to Steeple Arts to have breakfast and hear about his commitment to Christ.

“This was a great opportunity for our boys” said Britt Redden, third grade Boys Bible Study leader. Jones told the boys that he wants people to know him for being a man of God and not just a championship winner.

Bible Club is open to any boy of any denomination. Bible clubs meet either before or after school during the school year.
