Crestline Elementary School holds mascot tryouts

On Sept. 26, Crestline Elementary held its first ever cougar mascot tryouts, open to all sixth grade students who wanted to apply. The three applicants each prepared and performed an original two-minute dance routine to music. After the performances, the third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders voted Haise Ogilvie as the lead mascot. Sam Guilsher and Sophia Martin will be the alternate mascots. The mascot will perform at various school events and track meets throughout the year.
