Crestline students win awards at Future Problem Solvers State Bowl

Two teams of fifth-grade Crestline Elementary School students recently competed in the State Bowl for Alabama Future Problem Solvers International at the American Village in Montevallo.  Parker Belt, Connor Jenkins, Claudia Carson-Keane and Virginia Averyt received second place for their presentation and booklet.  Caley Record, Richard Monk, Lilly Odom and Landon Friedman won first place for their presentation and booklet and also were presented the David Mathews Civic Award for having a civic-minded attitude.  Both teams have been researching, preparing and practicing for this competition since early fall.
