Crestline zoo visit

by

On Friday May 4, Crestline Elementary School's seven kindergarten classes enjoyed an all day field trip to the Birmingham Zoo. The trip was the highlight of a unit of study on animals. Students learned about and got an up close view of several animals, including a tortoise and a bearded dragon, in a special program taught by zoo volunteers. Other zoo activities included watching the sea lion show, feeding the lorikeets, exploring the new "Trails of Africa" exhibit and riding the train through the zoo.
