Catherine Smith, a senior at Mountain Brook High School, was crowned Miss Olympian by Mountain Brook High School.  According to Alston Armstrong, pageant staff director, winner Catherine Smith sang “Turning Tables” by Adele for her talent.

First runner-up was sophomore Banks Cooney, while second-runner-up was senior Cady Nelson, and third runner-up was junior Laura Lou Patrick.

The pageant theme this year was “A Night under the Big Top,” and featured a wide variety of contestants and talents, with entertainment that included karate, dancing, singing, and a monologue.

This year’s pageant also included male talent, as usual, but this year incorporated a prize for the winner, which was voted on via text by the audience.
