MBHS Choir performs British-inspired showcase

Mountain Brook High School is hosting its 2015 Choral Music Showcase "Brookies" Feb. 18-21.

The showcase was inspired by different British composers and will feature selections by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Adele and Coldplay. Performances by more than 230 choir students include "Simply Irresistible," "You Really Got Me," "Walking on Broken Glass" and "Viva La Vida."

Performances will be held Feb. 18-21 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at MBHS. Advance tickets are $12 and can be purchased through current choir members, by contacting Dori Hardee at Hardeed@mtnbrook.k12.al.us or by calling 414-3800. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door on a first-come, first-serve basis.
