Through an All In Mountain Brook grant, students at Mountain Brook Junior High learned lessons about determination and overcoming challenges on April 7. Four members of Amp1 Basketball, an all-amputee team, came to MBJH to talk about good choices, positivity, ambition and having supportive friends.

They followed the speech by getting on the court with the eighth and ninth grade basketball teams.

"I think the men were so inspirational. They had some tough stories yet they were the most positive, inspirational people I have ever met," said Meg Kerr, the All In liaison at MBJH.
