MBJH PTO, All In Mountain Brook to host talk on 'Stress, Emotions and Learning'

Mountain Brook Junior High’s PTO will team up with All In Mountain Brook Tuesday, Feb. 16 to host a talk on “Stress, Emotions and Learning.”

Kimberly Carraway, an educational consultant specialized in brain-based teaching and learning strategies, will lead the talk.

According to the event description, Carraway will share insight on the relationship between stress and the learning process. She will also provide strategies for helping children deal with stress and emotions in a “healthy way.”

Carraway is a graduate of Vanderbilt University's Peabody College and Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.

The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the MBJH auditorium.
