Fancy Nancy visits students

Jane O’Connor, author of the fabulously famous Fancy Nancy books, recently visited Mountain Brook Elementary. 

Her visit, courtesy of Books A Million, gave her an opportunity to share with kindergarteners through second graders her new book, Fancy Nancy and the Mermaid Ballet.  She personalized student’s copy of the new book, read the story to the group, and discussed how she got the idea for the Fancy Nancy character.  Photo courtesy of Christine Corbitt of Books A Million.
