Hearts for a cause

Mountain Brook Elementary donated more than $5,000 from its Hearts for a Cause proceeds to Backpack Buddies, a program that reaches elementary children who are on free or reduced lunches in public schools.  The money donated will be used to help feed the children over weekends and holidays.
