Students shop for books, benefit library

Mountain Brook Elementary recently welcomed its annual Scholastic Book Fair, just in time for the holidays. The event raised more than $5,000 for the MBE Library Media Center and added nearly 200 books donated by families to the classrooms. More than two dozen parent volunteers staffed the event, chaired by Wendy Barze and Ashley McMahon in cooperation with LMC School Librarian Margaret Hudson and Assistant Librarian Nonnie Roby.
