Time to meet and greet

Anticipation for the new school year builds when the annual posting of class lists occurs on the doors of Mountain Brook Elementary School. 

The time-honored tradition elicits delight from anxious children when they finally find their name on the list and get to see what homeroom they are assigned. Parents are also emailed a copy of the class list for their children. 

Students then had the opportunity to visit their classrooms and meet their teachers prior to the start of school easing any first day jitters. Another positive of the Meet and Greet is seeing friends and revisiting favorite former teachers.
