MBHS girls' golf beats Vestavia

The Mountain Brook girls' golf team defeated rival Vestavia Hills Thursday, March 29 at the Birmingham Country Club. 

The defending state champs beat the Rebels 123-147. The low scorer was Mountain Brook's Tatum Jackson, who recorded a one under par 35.

Sisters Carolyn and Meg McCalley shot a respective 43 and 45 for the Spartans in the match.

Grace Chandler led Vestavia with a 45 and Amy Zaho scored a 47.

Both teams will be back in action Monday, April 1 in the Hike the Hills Tournament at Highlands Golf Course.
