MBHS Volleyball wins Dig in the Park tournament
The third-ranked Spartans volleyball team won the Dig in the Park tournament at Spain Park last weekend. The Spartans beat John Carroll Catholic 25-10, 25-14 in the final. During the tourney, Mountain Brook coach Haven O’Quinn won her 100th game at the school.
The Spartans (32-8) will host Spain Park on Tuesday night, Oct. 7. The junior varsity match begins at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity. On Thursday, Oct. 9, the Spartans travel to face No. 2 Hoover.
