High school soccer teams to host one-day camp

Mountain Brook’s varsity and junior varsity boys’ soccer teams will host a one-day soccer camp on Monday, Feb. 17, when is out for Presidents’ Day.  

The camp will emphasize fair play and ball skills for girls and boys ages 6 to 13. The camp will be held from 9 a.m.-noon on the lower soccer fields at Mountain Brook High School. The rain site will be the old school gym.

The high school teams are also inviting young fans to come to the home game on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. for a formal walk-out with the Varsity players.

The cost is $40 per child, which includes a T-shirt. The deadline for registering is Friday, Feb. 14.
