Over-The-Mountain champions for the fourth consecutive year

The girls sixth grade Mountain Brook Spartans Over-the-Mountain basketball team ended this year’s championship season, and the girls’ OTM careers, with an overtime victory over the sixth grade Hoover Bucs. 

The win capped an incredible run for this group of Mountain Brook girls.  The team was formed in 2008 when the girls were in third grade, and they remained undefeated in OTM regular-season and tournament play for four consecutive years.  The team was coached by Lizzie Jeffcoat, with assistance from MBHS Basketball Standout Collier Ogilvie.
