Soccer postseason awards announced

A number of Mountain Brook High School soccer players were recognized for their performances during the 2016 season.

Crawford Outland was voted by area coaches to be a part of the All-Metro team, as he was named to the second team as a freshman midfielder.

Three others on the boys team were honorable mention, as Eli Sellers, JT Jones and Jacob Wolanske received consideration.

Senior defender Nicole Strahl made the A-Division first team for the Birmingham area. Hallie Meadows joined her on the second team, while Lamar Campbell received honorable mention.
