Mountain Brook and Chelsea played a jamboree football game Friday at Chelsea. The Spartans won 24-17 when the freshmen scored a fourth-quarter touchdown to break a 17-17 tie by the varsity teams in the first half and a scoreless third quarter by the junior varsities.

Harrison Pyburn had a short touchdown run and Sean Elmore took a kickoff back for a TD for Mountain Brook.

The Spartans led 17-10 when Chelsea scored on the final play of the first half.
