Volleyball to host area championships

The Class 7A third-ranked Mountain Brook volleyball team will host the area championships at Spartan Arena on Monday, Oct. 20.

The Spartans will face Hewitt-Trussville at 4 p.m. If they win they'll play the winner of Spain Park-Vestavia Hills at 6:30 p.m.

The top two teams in the area tournament advance to the super regionals in Huntsville on Thursday
