Church Street and part of Euclid Avenue are among the streets that will be paved in Crestline. The streets in Crestline Village will be milled and paved at night starting April 15.
Work will begin each night starting whenever traffic clears on a particular street and run into the early morning, according to Public Works Director Ronnie Vaughn.
Vaughn estimates the project will take about three and a half weeks if there is good weather.
Streets to be paved include:
- Church Street
- Oak Street
- Hoyt Lane
- Tibbett Street
- Keeley Court
- Euclid Avenue (Memory Triangle to Vine Street)
- Vine Street (Dexter to Euclid)
- Dan Watkins Road
- Alley between Hoyt Lane & Oak Street
“It’s been a little over 20 years since this area has been resurfaced, and I think there’s a consensus that it’s time for it,” Vaughn said, noting they will try to keep any inconvenience to a minimum. “My hope is people will have patience and realize it will be well worth it when we get through with it.”
Another section of Crestline Village area will be milled and paved in mid to late June.
