A traffic study will be conducted in the Overton Road and Briar Oak Drive vicinity due to the volume and speed of traffic in that area.
“Sixty percent of people driving through that area are over the speed limit,” said City Manager Sam Gaston. “There is no sight visibility on the west of Briar Oak Drive.”
Skipper Consultant Richard Caudle has proposed to look at these particular areas. The study will take up to four weeks to complete.
