Runner-up Jack Martin and MBJH Spelling Bee winner Becca Gonzalez
Beating out 130 other students, Becca Gonzalez emerged as the Mountain Brook Junior High Spelling Bee champ, correctly spelling word number 299 “thoracic.” Becca, a seventh-grade student, went on to represent MBJH at the Jefferson County Spelling Bee in January.
