MBJH girls basketball team
The Mountain Brook Junior High School girls’ basketball team, coached by John Phillips, finished the season with a 17-2 record, giving up an average of only 19 points per game.
The team came in second in the Metro Tournament with a 3-point loss to Bumpus. Emily Henderson and Whitton Bumgarner were selected for the All-Metro Tournament team, while Ellen Dulin and Emily Henderson were chosen for the All-Metro Season team.
Team members include Anna Brooks Allen, Whitton Bumgarner, Ellen Dulin, Emily Henderson, Claire Kimberlin, Cummings Nelson, Lizzie Perri, Olivia Rodrigues, Hannah Straughn and Grace Turner.
